Riverworld V: Gods of Riverworld by Philip Jose Farmer
When a series of novels like the Riverworld series by Philip Jose Farmer concludes, we are often left wanting to read even more. We want to know what happens next to the characters we’ve followed and read about over the course of several novels, and to the planet they’ve lived on. Rarely do we get [...]
The Magic Labyrinth (Riverworld Book IV) by Philip Jose Farmer – review
At last, in the fourth novel of Philip Jose Farmer’s Riverworld series, The Magic Labyrinth, the answers to all of the questions the preceding three books have raised are answered. Or are they? In the Preface of the third novel, The Dark Design, which I reviewed here a couple of weeks ago, Farmer suggested that [...]
The Dark Design (Riverworld III) by Philip Jose Farmer – Review

If you have never read it, why haven’t you? Get it! If you have, but it’s been [...]
SyFy’s Riverworld trailer

Missed this before, but just caught it at io9 (who as I told CJA, has a bigger Deathstar than mine). Generally not too interested in SyFy adapting classic books (the whole Le Guin thing still thunders in my mind), but I love Philip Jose Farmer’s work and I just have to give this a chance. In April we reported the casting of Tahmoh Penikett and Smallville’s Supergirl Laura Vandervoort, a month after SyFy announced 3 series, one of which was Riverworld. There is now a trailer for the feature!
Check it out after the jump…
Farmer’s Riverworld cast by Sci Fi: Supergirl and Helo

Check who has been added to the cast after jump . . .
