World of Warcraft movie gets a writer, Robert Rodat
While we have known for a while that Sam Raimi is going to direct the World of Warcraft movie, it is now being reported that Raimi has found a writer. Raimi told MTV that screenwriter Robert Rodat (Saving Private Ryan) will be writing the script for the movie.

Noah Wyle joins Spielberg on TNT
For the last week or so there have been rumors that Noah Wyle was in talks to star in a Steven Spielberg helmed SF project for TNT. It has now been confirmed that Wyle is on board.

TNT’s “unnamed alien-invasion pilot” from Spielberg
Among the announcements in TNT’s line-up and ordered pilots is an as of yet untitled project associated with DreamWorks and Spielberg. What’s also interesting is that the script is being written by Robert Rodat, who wrote the script for Saving Private Ryan and The Patriot.
