Mace Windu with Deadwood in Tarantino’s Django?
The f-bombs might be flying as Samuel L. Jackson teams up once again with Quentin Tarantino in Django Unchained, and Gerald McRaney might also be joining the production too, although there’s no word on if any f-bombs will be in his arsenal.
Samuel L Jackson – Nick Fury In Avengers and Thor
Samuel L. Jackson stopped by NBC to share some super info on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and gave a heads-up to what’s going on in his world, as well as providing a little bit of surprise information. Jackson is a guy who doesn’t have to worry about job security for a while. He has [...]
Cormac McCarthy’s The Sunset Limited HBO Trailer
Drama is reigning king during this awards season, with The Black Swan, The Social Network, and The King’s Speech earning multiple nods. Well, here is some more (hopefully well crafted) drama for you, this time coming to the small screen. Premiering February 12th at 9pm on HBO is The Sunset Limited, starring Tommy Lee Jones [...]
Samuel L. Jackson, Luke Wilson, and Leslie Bibb Meeting Evil
Three actors have been attached to the upcoming big screen adaptation of the 1992 Thomas Berger novel, Meeting Evil. Luke Wilson will star as “a depressed real estate agent who has recently been fired from his job,” reports TheWrap.com, who crosses the path of Samuel L. Jackson’s character, a mysterious stranger in need of some [...]
Iron Man 2 – movie review
It seems like everybody wants a piece of Iron Man/Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Beyond the usual mindless herd of groupies and hangers-on, a Senate sub-committee lad by Sen. Stern (Gary Shandling) wants Stark Industries to turn over the metal suit to the government, rival defense contractor Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell) wants the intellectual property [...]
Iron Man 2 movie – TV teasers
Nowhere to go but down after the Scarlett Johansson gallery from yesterday, but luckily that’s a high peak and Robert Downey Jr. and Samuel L. Jackson can keep anything at least marginally cool. We’ve had a run of of clips and spots coming out, with April alone bringing these two tv teasers, a full length [...]
Tommy Lee Jones and Samuel L. Jackson in Cormac McCarthy’s Sunset Limited
A quartet of good things going on here when we are talking Cormac McCarthy, Tommy Lee Jones, Samuel L. Jackson and HBO. The latter is set to have Jones and Jackson star in a feature adapted from a play by the Pulitzer Award winner, McCarthy. According to Variety, McCarthy himself adapted The Sunset Limited into [...]
Samuel L. Jackson and Sasquatches – Proof optioned
Also announced earlier this week was my oh so favorite variety of news: comic book film/tv options. Usually these things announcements are pretty useless and fruitless and often are applied to comics you haven’t heard of, but also one’s that don’t even exist yet (and often related to some tired zombie plot). Out of the former variety, you’d usually count yourself lucky that you haven’t heard of them, but here we have an exception with Alex Grecian and Riley Rossmo’s Proof getting optioned for TV.
More info after the jump . . .
