This is not new but I just ran into this today and thought I’d share because I loved the novel, and Kadrey did stop by at BSC to tell us what the devil taught him. I guess you could call this is a book trailer for Sandman Slim and it has Kadrey going over the basics of the motivation behind his main character.

Richard Kadrey’s novel Sandman Slim comes out this month from Harper Eos, and take it from your boy Tomio, it’s that book you hope you find every year that’s just on some balls to the wall fun, which makes it no different in that regard to a previous book I read of Kadrey’s, Butcher Bird (which was published by Night Shade Books and can be read for free–it’s well worth it to go and download that).
