To go along with other high profile trailers – like The Force Unleashed II and Halo Reach – debuted on Spike TV’s presentation of the VGA’s, a look at Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 was also revealed!

Star Wars – The Force Unleashed 2 trailer
The VGA’s (on Spike TV) gave us the word premiere for The Force Unleashed 2, an announcement that had a ton of people waiting for what Lucasfilms had up its sleeve. The game will continue the events of the previous one and takes place in between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, and we should be looking for it next year!

Halo Reach trailer
As seen at VGA 2009 on Spike TV is the new trailer for Halo Reach–the next chapter of the Halo franchise. Hopefully BT will drop in and offer his thoughts on it! While not what anybody would call a hardcore Halo enthusiast, I think it looks okay but wasn’t quite as blown away as I thought I would be, having not played the game for years now.

I know that we noted the winners of the 2009 Scream Award when the event actually occurred a couple of weeks ago, but I thought it might be a good idea to put it up again because the televised event hit yesterday on Spike, and people may be trying to find the outcomes.

2009 Scream Award Winners
I was sitting here for most of the morning cobbling reports from various True Blood, Twilight, Trek sites etc (along with an AP report), and I look up and Bloody Disgusting has us all taken care of. Man I could just be blanking, but who is Jeff Jones–I am aware of the artist, but Jones wrote something? The awards ceremony will be edited to 2-hours and aired on Tuesday, October 27th on Spike TV.
