Stargate Universe cancelled by SyFy
For the first time since 1997, the Syfy channel will be Stargate free. According to ComingSoon, Syfy will end the action-adventure series, Stargate Universe, in the spring of 2011 after airing the final ten episodes of its second season. SyFy has released a new poster for Stargate: Universe, the forthcoming next chapter to the Stargate franchise. The end of July brought us a new trailer and some other posters for SGU, and this is a rather fresh look as we get closer to the premier.
