The Book of Eli – movie review
The Book of Eli is really great: it’s got the apocalypse, it’s got all kinds of murder and death with blood and rolling heads, and it’s got Denzel Washington saying profound things and threats from the Bible. Denzel is the titular Eli, roaming the wasted deserts of America with the last copy of the Bible in his backpack and packing a razor-sharp machete, along with a sawed off shotgun and a rackety old iPod.

The Book of Eli – More Denzel Washington Images
A couple more images of Denzel (we have a lot of these now, hello Mila time?), let from the upcoming Hughes Brothers film The Book of Eli. In September we got a trailer (and one in July). Anyways, for those who can’t have enough of Washington looking badass, two more images have popped up via the Warner Bros. Pictures 2010 preview.

Denzel Washington – new ‘The Book of Eli’ poster
To add to the sweet one we got earlier from Tommy Lee Edwards. Myspace now reveal sa new poster for the Hughes’ Brother’s The Book of Eli. Last September we got a trailer to go along with a previous one from July. You have to love Denzel, who got respectable status a minute ago and still puts out movies where he kicks ass.

Denzel Washington, Oldman in new Book of Eli trailer
New trailer to add to the one we got back in July for Denzel Washington’s The Book of Eli, a film by the Hughes brothers that should be hitting theaters in January. This is the type of movie that as an SF fan is hard not to be at least slightly intrigued by, especially with the cast it has even beyond Washington.

Just got a quality email with this poster in it and it’s all kinds of sweet.. First of all, Tommy Lee Edwards is all kinds of pimp as an artist. I could prove it to you by listing beyond the Star Wars, Batman, Hellboy, Wolverine, and even my beloved VALIANT (as he worked on Secret Weapons for a stint) projects he worked on to prove it, but the image after the jump will save me the trouble.

In March we posted a featurette for The Book of Eli, a movie by the Hughes Brothers, and starring Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, Mila Kunis, and Ray Stevenson. USA Today has just put up 5 images from the film, 4 featuring Denzel, and the other Oldman (yes I agree, I’m thinking there needs to be a more proper Mila ratio).
