Green Arrow is a johnny cum lately non-badass written to resemble Batman with the whole rich guy done good bit. But he’s a known douche even as superhero besides real person, not hardcore ethics and purpose like the Bats. Batman could eat him for lunch, especially with out his PRWECIOUS Bow and Arrow, just like Marvel’s Avenger’s stupid Hawk.

Also he does have contingency plans to take down every member of the Justice League. This is shown in the Tower of Babel arc.

I love Batman as much as the next person, but these epic tales of lore are a bit too tall, even by comic book standards. Give it a rest.

And in one Superman/Batman comic, he acquires Superman’s powers -that with his own fighting ability and strategy, he beats the rest of the Justice League down when they try to get in his way.

One aspect that seems to often to be overlooked about Batman is that in addition to his physical prowess he’s a world class detective. As a detective, Batman is probably up there with Sherlock Holmes and it’s his detective combined with his physical prowess that makes him a such a deadly opponent. First he figures out what you’re up to and foils, then he tracks down where you’re hiding where proceeds to kick the living crap out of you.

-His utility belt. You can literally explain for hours on end about how/why he just has whatever the fuck you can imagine within it.

-Mind games. If you follow any of the comics, you’ll know that the Batman Gambit is pretty fucking insane when explained in words, and how Batman himself is a walking mind game in it’s own right.

-Time Travel. Any story where Batman is shot into the past/future is worth researching.

Though what needs to be said is Superman is a straight up bitch in the DC Universe. Superman’s greatest foe in Metropolis was some bald nerd. Batman is dealing with the most diabolical madmen ever in Gotham. You’d think if Superman was so boss he’d fly over to Gotham and give a hand. But that never happens. Because Superman sucks and Batman is great. Plus remember that time Superman went all fascist in “The Dark Knight Returns” and Batman beat the shit out of him with kryptonite boxing gloves? Awesome.

He is a man – an ancient race, but still just a man. One of us. That is why we love him so, darkness and all, because all of us have our dark sides and moods as well.

Never liked the insane (probably literally) Tim Burton’s version of Batman. A car that drives up walls? Seriously?

The costume with his bright yellow (bad for stealth) symbol on his chest was ended cuz there was no point in it. It was the only bullet proof part and was meant to attact the target of shooters, but then people asked “why isnt his whole damn suit bulletproof?”

love the new Christian Bale version of Batman. Makes it totally believable. also love how he has been initially disliked by the people.

i heard that Batman had/has the capability of killing every single member of the Justice League- dont know how true this is but maybe someone can verify this.
