I kind of wish I was a fly on the wall there when you discussed art and visualized magic. I’m curious to know whether he has read and/or enjoyed The Golden Key which was an excellent story and not like his Imager Portfolio but has an art-based magic system.

Also, he discussed ‘learning’ about politics and government from books – in college (um, lots of years ago) we studied the Foundation books for political theory.

In any case, great interview and thank you Elena and Mr. Modesitt.
