I couldn't help but laugh when Edward and Bella were kissing outside her house. The moaning literally made me laugh out loud.

My sister, who had not read the books, didn't understand the moaning so I had to clue her in how it's painful for Edward but Bella doesn't care and jumps on that shit every chance she gets. I mean, hey, honestly couldn't blame her. Edward is a prude.

But overall, this movie was a relief. I vowed that if New Moon was as bad as Twilight then I was not going to see the remaining films. But thank goodness it was so much better than expected.

Another thing, I WAS an avid member of Team Edward, but I have switched to Team Shirtless. Can't wait until Leah and Seth join in.

I think they should have Chris Weitz direct Breaking Dawn. Loved everything.

I LOVED New Moon and thought it was much better than Twilight, which left me disappointed after reading the books. But I'm Team Jacob, always have been, but now even more so after New Moon. I'm 38 and don't mind saying that I'd love to have him imprint on me (which they skipped entirely in New Moon). I've alway thought that Kristen Stewart made a horrible Bella. She makes Bella look stupid and stutters all the time, and the way she pauses in speech drives me nuts. Bella in the book was very smart, in advanced classes in school, she was just clumsy because a medical condition that is never explained in the books. But anyway, since already telling you I've always been Team Jacob I'd like to point out to you that Jake is way to GOOD for Bella. Look at him, adorable, strong, loyal, warm, a little mysterious, tall, dark, handsome. Everything most women could ask for. So why should he settle for someone who wouldn't make him NUMBER ONE? I'm glad Edward gets Bella. If you've read the books you know Bella was born to be a vampire. I've read each book about seven times. Then re-read New Moon a couple days before the movie release. Now I am sitting here and impatiently waiting for Eclipse. I can tell you, I will be putting "Team Jacob" things on my christmas wishlist, especially the one where he is standing there with no shirt on lol. I LOVE the series. I wished the New Moon movie wouldn't have left so much out. I for one wouldn't have minded a three hour movie. Braveheart did it, LOTR did it, and more that just aren't coming to mind. I think too much was left out and those that didn't read the book will be left in the dark.

"..it really gave me a better understanding of why Team Jacob exists at all. I credit most of that to Taylor for making me see Jacob’s emotions so clearly"

More like how the movie made up a whole bunch of triangle crap that is truly non-existent in the book.

Cullens looked too acceptable this movie in terms of skin tone but too wierd with the bug-eyed gold contacts- Bad hair dye was gone, so that was a plus, but missed Twlight blue tint that portrayed Cullen’s perfect features/lack of flaws.
Should have cooled them down a bit in this movie.

1st look at the wolf was ridiculous- reminded me a little red riding hood book, although they became more realistic. The camera falls at one point when wolves fight- actually several akward cuts throughout movie

Bella using emailing Alice as narration tool was too forced. They should have just gone with 1st P Narrator like the 1st movie (Bella just thinking aloud)

Bella goes crossed-eyed throughout the movie whenever anyone is close= freaky.

Jane was not how I pictured and her eyeliner seemed wrong Casius was not aggressive
enough, almost should have switched roles with the other more menacing Marcus.

What is up with Alice's "Golden Girls" wardrobe- scarves, ugly gray striped sweater dress with big button combo, gross. Not quirky and "spritely" as before.

Great chemistry between Jacob and Bella. He totally steals it when Edward is in frame. Edward's mysterious, brooding self now comes off as a boring, slow, wet-blanket, downer. And Jacob really does look better.

Edward not so good with his shirt off. Why the 1/2 way hairy chest? not statuesque- should have shaved it. Also wierd nipples.ha ha Definite contrast to Jacob visually, who wins by far. No, not good at all.

However, Edward has good apology - sincere and heartfelt. Proposal line also good.

Victoria swimming in water laughable. The whole scene was whack once Bella jumped. Just chaotic but not in a good way.

Good father daughter chemistry- the "liners" came off more authentic than contrived.

Should have had one Rob P song just to keep the guy alive for those impressed by that. Compared to Jacob and his total heat, Edward is definitely not really appealing. I predict spell is broken although I did just watch his 2008 "I'm a mental,no talent, whiner" movie "How to be" so maybe I am now probably biased.

New Moon was a terrible movie. The makers tried to hard to put everything from the book into the film. It is choppy and unclear as to what story is being told. Also the "commercials" that took place during the movie were awful, two words Virgin Airlines!!! and the flashback of Alice's vision that showed Edward and Bella running through the woods was the most embarrassing thing I have ever seen in a movie. Summit, Chris, the producers, and screen writer should send apologies to every fan!!!
